Creative Capital at the 2010 01SJ Biennial in San Jose, CA

Eighteen Creative Capital artists will present at this year’s 01SJ Biennial (Sept. 16–19), participating in exhibitions, performances and other events throughout San Jose, CA. Work by Beatriz da Costa, Amy Franceschini, Eduardo Kac, Richard Pell and John F. Simon, Jr. is already on display in Small Wonders, an exhibition at the Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport, where SuttonBeresCuller has also installed a piece, The Wunderkammer. Performances by Stephanie Rothenberg, Sheryl Oring, Zoë Keating and Stephen Vitiello will take place throughout the Biennial, as will Brody Condon’s live role-playing event, LevelFive. MTAA, Futurefarmers and Sabrina Raaf’s work will also be on display.
