Jeannette Louie

Jeannette Louie acquired a BFA at Parsons School of Design and an MFA from Vermont College of Norwich University. Her interdisciplinary work has been included in numerous solo and group exhibitions including at Mills College Art Museum, CA; Esso Gallery, NY; ISE Cultural Foundation, NY; Ace Gallery, NY; Spaces, OH; Sala 1, Italy; and Alberto Peola Arte Contemporanea, Italy. She is a recipient of a New Jersey State Council on the Arts Individual Artist Fellowship and a Rome Prize, American Academy in Rome (1999-00). She has been an Artist-in-Residence at Yaddo, The Marie Walsh Sharpe Art Foundation Space Program, Roswell Program, Vermont Studio Center, Skowhegan School, P.S. 122 Project Space Program and Sculpture Space.

2007: Louie attends a residency at The Center for Photography at Woodstock NY

2007: Louie receives a New Jersey Print Fellowship to attend a residency at the Brodsky Center at Rutgers University in New Brunswick NJ

2002: Louie receives Individual Artist Fellowship from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts

2001: Louie receives Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation Fellowship to attend the Yaddo residency program in Saratoga Springs NY
