Developed by artists for artists, our Professional Development Program provides career, community and confidence building tools to help all artists become successful artists. We’ve worked with more than 5,500 artists in 150 communities in our first 10 years, and in that time we’ve learned a lot. Our leaders are not only experts in what they teach—most are practicing artists, and many are Creative Capital grantees. Leaders introduce concepts and practical tools, then share how they are used in their own lives. This approach helps participants understand how they can use these tools themselves and it encourages artists to share resources.
