Creative Capital provides integrated financial and advisory support to artists pursuing adventurous projects in five disciplines: Emerging Fields, Film/Video, Literature, Performing Arts and Visual Arts.

Creative Capital is one of the only national nonprofit organizations that awards grants to individual artists through an open application process.
We are a premier provider of risk capital in the arts, taking chances on artists’ projects that are bold, innovative and genre-stretching. For examples of projects that have been awarded Creative Capital grants, see our Artist Projects.
Our individualized approach provides grantees with sequential financial support and tailored advisory services to enable their project’s success and help them build sustainable careers.
We make a commitment to work with each grantee over a three- to seven-year period that involves a high level of engagement between Creative Capital and the artist.
