Ken Nintzel You Are Here

Ken Nintzel

Ken Nintzel creates original and interpreted works of theater and performance and more recently performance based works of installation, video and visual art. Ken has created a variety of works that combine performance with other disciplines, including: Spacial Gesture (2008), a happening at LMAK Projects’ lower east side gallery; Palindrome (2008), a work for toy theater at Great Small Works International Toy Theater Festival at St. Ann’s Warehouse; Exploratory Committee (2007), a participatory installation at The Whitney Museum at Altria (a precursor to the Creative Capital-supported project, You Are Here); Tableau von Vienna (2007), video footage shot for Richard Foreman’s Bridge Project and screened at The Brick Theater; and Landscape Painting (2006), an action for video presented at Catch Performance Series. Most recently, Ken designed two exhibitions for the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology: Impact, 50 years of the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) in 2012 and the Daphne Guinness exhibition in 2011, in which he also created a para-holographic projection of Ms Guinness that served as the exhibition’s centerpiece.
