Xenobia Bailey

Xenobia Bailey has been featured in exhibitions at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, and at the Stefan Stux Gallery, Studio Museum in Harlem, and the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York. Her work is included in the permanent collection of the Schomberg Center for Research in Black Culture in New York.

Awards and Accomplishments

2014:

Bailey, along with fellow awardees Simone Leigh and Otabenga Jones & Associates, participates in Funk, God, Jazz and Medicine: Black Radical Brooklyn, co-presented by Creative Time and the Weeksville Heritage Center at various venues in Brooklyn

2008: Bailey receives public art commission for the Municipal Court & Police Station in Austin, TX

2001: Bailey receives Joan Mitchell Foundation Grant
