Project: Memory Lane

Memory Lane is an augmented memory service where users easily recall moments from the past through voice computing. Today, Memory Lane is accessible through Amazon's Alexa where users simply say “Alexa, open Memory Lane” to go on a journey through time and experience popular moments in history. These moments are selected to trigger personal memories with the aim of improving memory recall, mood, and social engagement. Users and their personal networks can respond to memories via voice, text, or video to create rich memories to last for eons in the cloud. Memory Lane’s mission also includes support for senior living communities through "Connect the Dots" software, facilitating community connection and the delivery of information through voice controlled assistants.
