Creative Capital is not just a happy-talk euphemism for some bull market investment fund, although I suspect a giddy economy is not irrelevant to the official business of the aforementioned envelope.

Instead, more than a decade after the start of America’s so-called Cultural Wars, the arts may have a chance to fight back from its increasing marginalization and demonization. Smart minds have come up with a concrete way to work around the decimated National Endowment for the Arts, distracted foundations and frightened private donors.
